Sadly, even though this type of recently discovered Immunotherapy is now FDA Approved, Nobel Prize Winning and recognized as the Fourth Standard of Cancer Care, meaning that no oncologist can be penalized for prescribing it, the majority are still recommending systemic chemotherapy that poisons the body and destroys the immune system and every other fast growing cell in the body. The side effects of chemotherapy are hellacious and, sometimes are worse than the disease! Additionally, and importantly, because chemo does not kill cancer stem cells, in many cases, the tumor metastasizes to another part of the body and the patient can no longer be helped by chemotherapy.
The Author's Immunotherapy Success Story
Based on her scans, Lynne Meredith was diagnosed with Stage 4 leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that usually affects muscles and hollow organs. It had spread to her bones, liver, and skull, which usually only occurs in the last Stage of the disease. In her words, “I could not move or roll over in bed without excruciating pain. I couldn’t walk and was confined to a wheelchair. I lost my hearing in my right ear. I felt like I was at death’s door, and the oncologist agreed, and estimated I had only weeks to live. I had lost the 'spark of life' but not the will to live. I cried until I sobbed, at the thought of leaving behind my three adult children, nine grandchildren and other family and friends.
As a Nutritional Science researcher, with a Bachelor of Science focusing on Health Science, I had some knowledge of immunotherapy. I decided that it was my only hope for survival. However, I needed to become more educated on the topic.
I wasn’t getting the answers I needed from my oncologists, so I decided to advocate for myself. I researched Immunotherapy Checkpoint Inhibitors through reputable scientific sources and the results of clinical studies to understand the scientific mechanisms, utilized to unleash the immune system to kill cancer cells, while safeguarding healthy cells.
I called Merck, the manufacturer of Keytruda directly, to find out how to obtain Immunotherapy infusions. I found out they were administered for only 30-minutes every three weeks at the same infusion center that administers chemo. They also sent me a Form. I filled out half and gave it to my doctor to fill out and send back. Merck agreed to pay for it if I couldn't afford it!
After two weeks I got my first infusion and after three infusions of only immunotherapy checkpoint inhibitors, without chemo or radiation, miraculously, I was able to roll over in bed and walk without pain. I regained my hearing! My new scans showed the tumors had disappeared or shrunk by at least 80%. There were no new lesions, tumors, or metastases.
I was ELATED and I wanted to share this miracle with others! I compiled my extensive research, my story, and the stories of other survivors, and created the book, THE IMMUNOTHERAPY MIRACLE! VICTORY IN THE WAR ON CANCER! My goal is to educate the critical mass of people, to create Immunotherapy Awareness to end the hellacious suffering of cancer!
This book is a story of healing cancer through the miraculous human immune system rather than by using toxic chemicals that destroy immune cells as well as every fast-growing cell in our bodies, in addition to the cancer cells.

FROM METASTATIC MELANOMA TO NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE WITH IMMUNOTHERAPY
"I was diagnosed with Metastatic Melanoma in December of 2015. The cancer was also in my liver, spine, and other places. When I received the results, my daughter was two, and I had a newborn who was only a week old.
The chemotherapy they recommended didn’t work. All my tumors kept growing. The doctors told me to enjoy what little time I had left. But having such a young family, I couldn’t accept that prognosis.
I joined an immunotherapy clinical trial at MD Anderson. A scan taken in May 2015 showed a 95% reduction in my tumors. And by November 2015, I showed no evidence of disease at all. Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer Death Sentence - CA 19-9
Goes from 2000 To NORMAL After Immunotherapy
After a PET Scan, CT Scan and Biopsy Daniel Miller was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic cancer, previously considered a death sentence. He knew chemotherapy would just prolong his suffering so he insisted on Immunotherapy. At his insistence, he was prescribed a pembrolizumab (Keytruda) infusion at three-week intervals. After his 17th infusion. a CT scan and blood tests showed that the tumors w smaller, and his CA 19-9 number had dropped from over 2,000 when I was diagnosed to a number in the normal range.

Irisaida was originally diagnosed with uterine cancer. 11 months later, her doctors informed her that the cancer had metastasized to her lungs. She was now considered a Stage IV cancer patient and was advised to receive a lobectomy (removal of portions the lung) followed by a standard course of chemotherapy.
Despite aggressive chemotherapy treatment, her cancer had continued to spread to her entire lung and compromised her ability to breathe. “That is when I started seeking other options,” she said.

PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER WAS CURED OF ADVANCED METASTATIC MELANOMA,
LIVER CANCER AND BRAIN CANCER WITH IMMUNOTHERAPY
President Jimmy Carter’s father, his only brother, and both sisters died of pancreatic cancer. In August 2015, President Jimmy Carter was diagnosed with advanced metastatic melanoma, which at that time was considered a death sentence. The survival rate was extremely low. Most patients lived only months or weeks. The Stage IV Cancer had also spread to his liver and four areas of his brain. He was released from the hospital to die at home under Hospice care.
Carter began the immunotherapy checkpoint inhibitor, Keytruda, in August of 2015.
In December, three months later, his doctors announced the then-91-year-old was completely cancer-free. Scans showed that his tumors were gone entirely. His ongoing follow-ups, starting in February 2016, showed no recurrences. Carter’s images showed he was free of all cancer.
